Center for Inner Peace is a collaborative initiative brought to you by the Infinite Potential Institute and Sri Sathya Sai Center of Lake Washington.
The primary mission of Infinite Potential Institute (IP) is to help every individual discover their innate infinite potential by either directly conducting (or sponsoring those conducting) workshops, seminars, forums, and other educational activities designed to foster reflective thinking and develop a strong character.
Every culture in the world measures its heroes and leaders in an amazingly consistent manner, valuing those demonstrating a strong character full of virtues, such as compassion, charity, gratitude, integrity, and non-violence. Every human wants a leader who is selfless in their conduct.
There is also plenty of scientific evidence that cultivating such characteristics endows the individual with self-satisfaction, happiness (and thus, health), and leads to self-actualization. Our biggest enemies are within, and a solid character helps fight those battles effectively.
Building on the pedagogy of SSEHV, latest advances in neuroscience, psychology, and ancient philosophy from cultures across the world, IP systematically harnesses and brings out these characteristics to help each person realize their own full potential.
While this can cater to all walks of life across all strata of society, IP currently focuses on a few key areas: corporate leadership development, youth (high school and college level) development, and community programs. IP is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
Lake Washington Sai Center is a local chapter of the global Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO)—a non-religious non- profit spiritual group, focused on the unity and oneness of humanity.
Founded by Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the mission of SSSIO is to awaken the divinity inherent in each individual through the practice of the five human values—Truth, Right Conduct, Love, Peace and Non- Violence. It neither seeks to establish a new faith nor convert anyone to a new path. Instead, each is encouraged to become stronger in their faith in their own established paths.
This website is the first step toward building a comprehensive digital home for both LWSC and the Infinite Potential Institute.
Classes for children, reflective discussion groups for adults, and educational workshops on human values and spiritual development.
Community service activities including food drives, environmental initiatives, and volunteering with local organizations.
This Center for Inner Peace site is a stepping stone. As we grow, it will become part of the full LWSC website — a hub for all center activities, including education, service, devotion, and community life. We are building with that future in mind.
